We always go to steamers when we are in Pismo. Their clam chowder is outrageously good. Last visit we went once for lunch, the next day for dinner (and we were only there 3 days)! Their fish is always fresh as well. The views are straight…

While on a short weekend trip to Pismo, I visited Steamers with some family. Being that the restaurant is right on the beach, you would assume that their seafood is top notch...not so! Our waiter had absolutely no grasp of the menu…
Pros: Beautiful view, great clams Cons: Terrible service, fishy seafood
